Join The Truth In The Spirit for our Shavuot Service

Sunday, June 1st at 11:00am EDT

We will have a powerful exhortation, worship and Biblical observance of Shavuot, as we celebrate Jews and Gentiles coming together as One New Man in Messiah.  Shavuot was established in Exodus chapters 19 and 20, when the children of Israel first encountered God at Mount Sinai and Moses shared the Ten Commandments.  Shavuot was fulfilled in Acts chapter 2 when believers in the Upper Room encountered God in the form of tongues of fire, which empowered them to speak in the languages of ALL of the worshippers gathered in Jerusalem.  Both at Mount Sinai and in Jerusalem thousands of years later, God revealed Himself to a group of Jews and Gentiles.  As we observe Shavuot, we wave two loaves of challah bread before God, representing a harvest of Jews and Gentiles.  Click the button below to learn more about our Shavuot observance!

We will have simultaneous services at Congregation Or Shalom and the Historic Antioch Baptist Church while also broadcasting online. Feel free to join us in person at 1 of our 2 locations at the addresses below:
-Congregation Or Shalom at 1510 Willow Lawn Drive, Suite 100, Richmond, VA
-Historic Antioch Baptist Church at 4604 Cedar Bush Road, Hayes, VA

To join us online via Zoom, be sure to subscribe to our general TIS emails, as the Zoom links will be posted in those emails days before our Shavuot Service. We will also broadcast on Facebook and YouTube.

Join The Truth In The Spirit as we lead you in observing Shavuot in your own home or congregation!

This Shavuot Service will include: Live Worship, an Exhortation about Shavuot, Scripture Reading, Deliverance, Intercessory Prayers and 14 Holy Communions!

If you join us online for Shavuot Service, be sure to bring your matzah (unleavened bread) and cup of 100% grape juice or wine, so that you can partake in the 14 communions of Shavuot! Our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) fulfilled ALL of the sacrifices required on Shavuot. By taking Communion, we are rightly applying His Sacrifice!

Shavuot is one of the feasts at which God requires a special offering called the “Shelamim” that demonstrates how much He has blessed us throughout the year (Deut. 16:16-17). Hence, this special offering should be prepared for prior to and given on Shavuot. You may give via PayPal on our Giving page or by using our ID $truthinspirit for CashApp.

We look forward to observing Shavuot with you!
