Praying for Richmond, VA, during the 10 Days of Prayer

The 10 Days of Awe, which span from Yom Teruah to Yom Kippur, begin Monday, September, 6th, 2020 at sundown and end Thursday, September 16th at sundown in 2021.  Our 10 Days of Prayer follow the same timeline.  The Biblical day starts at sundown each day, according to God’s order in Genesis chapter 1: “There was evening and morning, the first day . . .”  As we pray to God on behalf of our nation, we are also coming into alignment with Him.  This makes our prayers during these 10 days very strategic.

You may sign up to receive an email from me each day at 7pm for 10 days, just before the sun sets and we enter into a new Biblical day.  These emails will guide your personal prayers and your intercession for our nation, state and city.  You may choose to pray each evening after sunset or the following morning or afternoon.  No matter when you choose to pray, what matters is that you’re setting aside time each day to devote to prayer.  God bless you for your faithfulness!

Let me know if you experience challenges and could use additional prayer support. Email me any questions or concerns you may have. Feel free also to share any revelation you receive, as we may need to incorporate it into our upcoming prayers. We are strongest together, and we will see God move as we unite in Him.

Blessings to you, Apostle Markita Brooks
