Fall Feasts 2026

The Biblical Feasts are all about our Messiah! He fulfilled the Biblical Feasts in the Spring, and He will fulfill the Biblical Feasts in the Fall when He returns.

As The Truth In The Spirit observes the Biblical Feasts, we welcome YOU to join us. We will host services for Yom Teruah & Yom Kippur in Washington, DC, at the Martin Luther King Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. We will host Sukkot Services in Hayes, VA at the Historic Antioch Church. We will broadcast our services online. This year, the Fall Biblical Feasts are on the following days:

Yom Teruah (aka Rosh Hashanah) will be from sundown Friday, September 11th, to sundown Saturday, September 12th.
Yom Kippur (aka Day of Atonement) will be from sundown Sunday, September 20th, to sundown Monday, September 21st.
Sukkot (aka the Feast of Tabernacles) is from sundown Friday, September 25th, to sundown Saturday, October 3rd.

More about Yom Teruah & Yom Kippur Feast Day Services

Yom Teruah is also called Rosh Hashanah. It is the day for sounding the shofar, which announces the coming King, scatters the enemy and awakens God's people to our purposes. Yom Teruah will be fulfilled when Messiah returns according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. It also begins the 10 Days of Awe, a time set a part for prayer, reflection and repentance. This year, our Yom Teruah Service will be held at the Martin Luther King Memorial in Washington, DC. Please park in designated areas and bring a lawn chair. Also, RSVP by completing the form above, so that we can prepare a badge for you. Lastly, wear white clothing, as this is a special and holy day. If you do not have a complete white outfit, wear a white shirt with khaki or light colored bottoms (pants or skirt). If you own a shofar, feel free to bring that as well.

Yom Kippur is also called the Day of Atonement. The Lord requires a complete fast (no food, water or entertainment) and doing absolutely no work on this day (Lev. 23:26-32). It is the day on which God either purges us of our sins or purges us from His Book of Life, as no sin can glory in His Presence. Yom Kippur will be fulfilled on Judgment Day, as we see it in Revelation 20:11-15. As believers in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ), we must focus on praying for the lost and our nation on Yom Kippur, as this is the day that God set apart to deliver entire nations from sin. It is in fact the Biblical National Day of Prayer! This year, our Yom Kippur Service will be held at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. Please park in designated areas and bring a lawn chair. Also, RSVP by completing the form above, so that we can prepare a badge for you. Lastly, wear white clothing, as this is an especially holy day. If you do not have a complete white outfit, wear a white shirt with khaki or light colored bottoms (pants or skirt).

During our Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur services, we will also have communion. Near the end of both Services, we will pray for deliverance and intercede, followed by 1 communion. If you join us in person, we will provide communion for you. If you join us online, please have your communion elements ready, if you want to participate.

More about 1st Day and 8th Day of Sukkot Feast Day Services

During Sukkot, the Lord requires that we dwell in temporary shelters (called sukkot), enjoying fellowship with Him and each other. On the 1st and 8th days of Sukkot, God calls us to hold a sacred assembly, because they are special Shabbats (Lev. 23:33-43). Sukkot will be fulfilled when all of God's people dwell with Him forever with nothing to harm us or cause us to mourn (Rev. 21:1-4). Let's practice for eternity with God now!

Near the end of both of our Sukkot Services (1st & 8th days), we will pray for deliverance and intercede, accompanied by 12 communions. If you join us online, please bring enough matzah (unleavened bread) and grape juice (1 large cup) for 12 communions, if you'd like to receive Holy Communion with us. Remember, Sukkot is one of the 3 annual Feasts during which God requires a Shelamim offering--a freewill offering based on how much He has blessed us (see Deuteronomy 16:16-17). Determine how much your household will give during Sukkot, and set it aside. Give it any time during Sukkot, and receive a household blessing.
